Mommy and Izzy dressed the same on New Years Day, jeans and all. Yes, she is the family favorite.

Isabella's first haircut

The mullet must go! Poor Izzy didn't enjoy Grandma cutting her hair.

As you can see below, much better!

Carlyle Christmas Party

Well, we ventured into the city for my work Christmas party. It is always a fun occasion, a reason to dress up and eat some de-lish food. Isabella had no idea what she was in for, but ended up loving the party because there was lots of people and noise. They had a steel drum band playing (pretty good too.) It was fun for some of my co-workers to see Izzy finally. Next year, she will be mobile. Yikes! Here are some pictures of us before we left.

Ready to go

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Grandpa Keith (Santa) came to our house for Thanksgiving again this year and what a special year it was. Ms. Isabella got to take some pictures with her Grandpa. She just fell in love with the big white beard too.

Thanks for coming up to see us Dad!!

Izzy Tells About Her First Halloween

Well, it's about time Daddy got this posted. I told it to him a long time ago, but he's just now getting to it. (You'll note that he dated it November 2, 2007, but don't be fooled -- he didn't really post it until January 12, 2008.) Slacker.

So, here's what I did for my first Halloween.

First we had to go get punkins -- that's right punkins. See, this sign at the farm down the street from our house where we got them is proof that we bought "punkins."

We bought a Daddy punkin and a Mommy punkin and a Baby punkin and a Sanka punkin: we had to have Jack-o-lanterns for everybody, you know.

After we brought the punkins home and cleaned them up, Mommy had Daddy plug in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," and we started the punkin slaughter down in Daddy's Fortress of Solitude.

Look at all those punkin guts.

Gross. . .

Of course, Mommy had to get me some Halloween sleepwear. Check out these groovy pajamas.

Wanna see my Halloween costume? I was a ladybug. Better watch out -- Mommy and Daddy said I was dangerously cute. So, you've been warned. . .

See? Cute.

Then we went to the House for the Halloween party. I was a hit, if I do say so myself. Daddy dressed as a hipster-doofus, and Mommy was . . . Mommy.

That night, all the kids taught me the Superman dance. I learned it on my first try.

It's very tiring partying that hard. I had fun, but it was nice to go home and recover.

Well, that's my Halloween report. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good one.

Just wait till next year when I'm mobile.
