It was quiet, but good. Isabella enjoyed her Easter basket even though she had to share, okay give, her candy to her Dad.

First, I have to say, "How much does this picture look like her Daddy?" Oh my word, the side smile and everything. Not sure what is going on with the hair, it has a mind of its own. Izzy got an Easter package from her Grandma M and Grandpa K. As you can see, she was pretty excited.

Palm Sunday

"I got my hair did." Well, this was my first attempt at curling Izzy's hair and as long as she had something to hold, she was down with it. Izzy and I were invited to our good friends, the McCormick's for an early Easter lunch (Chris was out of town). It was yummy! Izzy did very well there. She napped for 30 minutes when we first got there, so I was actually able to eat! She sat at the table with the "big kids" and ate her lunch too. Good job Isabella not being embarrassing.Eating at the McCormicks. Also, some pictures of Isabella before we went to church today.

Well, the drooly monster is back. Izzy got her two top teeth in this past week. Sorry about the snotty nose:)

8 months old

Well, today Bella Button turned 8 months old. It was really hard to get her to sit still with a piece of paper in her hands (one of her most favorite things ever!)

She is crawling pretty well now, pulling up on furniture, and is exercising her vocal cords quite well nowdays.

Okay, I came in one morning and there was Isabella standing up in her crib bouncing up and down with a huge smile on her face. She was very happy with herself. Let's just say that Chris lowered the crib right away:) Little stinker. And here is a picture of Izzy and I just for fun.

Farewell to Aunt Jenee'

Sad day. Jenee' is going back to Nebraska after being here with us in Virginia. She was Izzy's nanny for 4 months. We are so blessed to have her here to look after Isabella. What a great Aunt, sister, friend, blah, blah, blah:) We will miss you Nay! Here are some pictures from her time here.
